NIKE at NIKE KICKS LOUNGE OMOTESANDOU @nikekicksloungeomotesando Directed by @anagra_tokyo A limited time exhibition at the Omotesando store. This is a project called "NIKE BY YOU", and for 12 consecutive months, 12 artists who will lead the art scene in Tokyo will draw works for this project, and you can print them on T-shirts and hoodies. The characters in this section are called gummies. The gummies are animated with a unique sense of motion and elasticity in mind. Although they are sculptures on CG, they are accompanied by a time axis, which makes it possible to visualize the repulsiveness and physical laws. The history of the soles created by NIKE is a unique and innovative lineage, and it is interesting to see the emergence of vapor max. The design of the cushioning is unique in its volume, and because it is transparent, you can clearly see its structure and know that flexibility and elasticity exist there. At the same time, you can wear them, walk, run, and play sports. These are all intended for time-based movement, like animation, and the design and purpose of the shoes go hand in hand. That's what we focused on in this project. To show the mobility of the gummies even when they are stationary, I wanted to create a shoe that I confined it to a single graphic while feeling the affinity with the vapor sole.

表参道ショップで期間限定で展示を行っています “NIKE BY YOU”という企画で、12ヶ月連続この企画は今後TOKYOのアートシーンを率先するであろう12人のアーティストが本企画の為に描き下ろした作品をその場でTシャツやパーカーの好きな場所に転写プリントできるというものです。 gummies x nike が実現しました。また、今回の為に制作したアートワークをナイキのアパレルボディにプリントする事が出来ます。Tシャツ、ロンT、パーカーにも行けるそうです。是非 グラフィックに合わせてショートムービーも制作しました。

ここに登場するキャラクターはgummies(グミーズ)といいます。 gummiesは独特の運動性や弾力を意識してアニメーションさせた作品です。 cg上の造形物でありながら時間軸を伴っているため、より、反発性や物理法則を視覚化することができます。 NIKEの作り出すソールの歴史は、他のメーカーとは類を見ない革新的な系譜をたどっていて、vapor maxの登場は興味深いと思います。 独特なボリュームのクッションのデザイン、そして透明なゆえにその構造がよくわかり、屈曲性を弾力性がそこに存在していることがわかります。 それと同時に履いて、歩く、走る、スポーツする。 これらは全てアニメーションのように時間を伴った運動性を目的としていて、デザイン性とシューズとしての目的が両立しています 今回はそういった部分に着目し制作しました。 静止している状態でもgummiesの運動性がわかるように、 vapor のソールとの親和性を感じながら一枚のグラフィックに閉じ込めました
